Tailor-made Programmes
Boswell‑Bèta offers many tailor-made programmes. This could be private tutoring, group tutoring, or classes especially developed for specific classes or institutions.
Tailor-made classes
Tailor-made classes are developed for institutions or organisations who want to offer a specific training to a group of students. Examples are transfer programmes for tracks at universities or universities of applied sciences, preparation training for staff at other organisations, or a group of students who cannot participate in the regular courses.
Tailor-made programmes for individual students
In some cases the best option is private tutoring. After an intake-session, in Utrecht or over Skype, we will set-up a private programme to support you in your preparation.
Please note that private tutoring is often more expensive than participating in a regular course.
Situations in which you might want to opt for private tutoring:
- You've already finished the science subjects in high school but the programme (curriculum) in your home country is not accepted in the Netherlands. Instead of participating in a full length course, a short private programme will only cover the missing parts of science subjects. By complementing your domestic curriculum you will then be able to take part in the access exams.
- You prefer private one-on-one tutoring.
We also organise combined programmes that cover both the science subjects as well as working on your study skills. This involves special sessions by our study skills lecturers.
Sometimes you will need extra support next to our regular courses, or some support during the final preparation after self-studying or taking a course in your home country. It is then also possible to work with one of our junior-lecturers during the summer.
